CHALLENGE:

SOLA, a company dedicated to promoting clean energy across Africa, needed to enhance its brand to communicate its mission of helping businesses and communities prosper through solar PV and storage solutions. The challenge was to position SOLA as a leader in the clean energy sector while highlighting its impact on the continent.

We worked with SOLA to create a brand identity that clearly communicated their commitment to sustainability and prosperity through clean energy. The brand message was focused on the benefits of solar power in driving economic growth and improving quality of life across Africa. This rebranding effort helped SOLA strengthen its market position and underscore its role in creating a better future for the continent through clean energy solutions.

POSITIVE + ENERGY

In 2024, TAG was tasked with helping SOLA evolve their positioning with a strategic marketing campaign, highlighting SOLA’s new energy innovation within the market. 

In South Africa, there’s a lot of negativity around energy but SOLA has brought positive innovation to the energy sector since 2008 – the newest example of which is an industry first, short-term product and an alternative way for commercial and industrial consumers to buy electricity. 

The Positive+Energy campaign included thought leadership ‘Positive Energy’ conversations, brand films, PR, digital content & advertising.
