From life’s joyous moments to every day celebrations – a graduation, engagement, wedding, birth of a baby, wedding anniversary or simply the gathering of family and friends – Le Lude is the Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) that discerning individuals choose to enjoy while celebrating life’s unforgettable moments.”
Le Lude, a wine farm in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley of South Africa’s Western Cape, follows an ethos committed to its founding family and the crafting of naturally bottle-fermented sparkling wines, known as Cap Classique.
Here the Barrow family have made their home. The pioneering approach of Le Lude is underscored by it being the first cellar to produce an Agrafe® (Tirage Liège) Cap Classique, paving the way for a sector of the South African wine industry on the road to greatness.
Nic and Ferda Barrow are passionate about the finer things in life and put their hearts and souls into everything they do. This is testament in the many accolades and awards they have received over the years. The Barrows have been honored amongst others by the Jewish National Fund of South Africa, for contributions made to President Nelson Mandela Park in Delft and the Walter Sisulu Environmental Centre in Mamelodi. The Barrows also donate several bursaries towards learners from underprivileged communities.
Franschhoek’s Le Lude Wine Estate launched its new “unforgettable” brand positioning appointing Tag 8 Marketing Consultancy in partnership with KH Communications to develop the new strategy and creative role out across both digital & PR. “The new strategy aligns perfectly with Le Lude’s recent 97 points for the 2012 Vintage Cuvée at the Decanter World Wine Awards, the best result yet for any MCC in South Africa.
Nothing marks a special occasion quite like a glass of South Africa’s international award-winning MCC from Le Lude. Those who try it will realise immediately that it truly is a luxury brand that will help you turn ordinary moments into unforgettable ones. In a perfect world, everyone would have a glass of Le Lude every evening.
