Challenge:

During the COVID-19 lockdown, SANParks needed to find a way to continue supporting nature conservation efforts while engaging consumers in a meaningful way. The challenge was to create a product that could generate funding for SANParks while embodying their core values.

Solution:

We launched Guardian Gin, a premium gin that supports SANParks’ conservation efforts. The brand identity and packaging were designed to reflect the philosophy of SANParks, with each bottle purchase contributing to the development and protection of South Africa’s national parks. The narrative and visuals communicated the concept of being a “Guardian of Nature,” making consumers feel part of the conservation effort. This approach not only generated funding for SANParks but also resonated with consumers who wanted to make a positive impact through their purchases.
