Supporting Youth to become digital citizens through 21st Century Design

We recently worked on the CAPACITI brand as part of the UVU Africa ecosystem – which designs and builds future-fit, inclusive societies in Africa through innovation and technology.

CAPACITI provides a critical development and experiential pathway for young, resourceful South Africans to become fully-fledged digital citizens.

The CAPACITI Brand ID was created from a pattern of angled brackets (or chevrons). These
chevrons function as tag or a section in universal coding. 

The chevron pattern within the CAPACITI logo mark also mimics the fractal principles within
the larger UVU mother brand.
 
Creating a playful brand that appealed to the youth involved in their programmes, but could still translate well for corporate partners, was important for this project.
